The upcoming drama Han River has recently confirmed two of its cast members, making the audience rejoice!

On September 26, industry representatives reported that both Lee Sang Yi and Bae Da Bin will be starring in the drama Han River. In response to the reports, a representative from Lee Sang Yi’s agency PLKGOODFRIENDS stated, “Lee Sang Yi is confirmed to star in the drama ‘Han River.’” A source from Bae Da Bin’s agency SM C&C similarly said, “Bae Da Bin will be joining the drama ‘Han River.’”

The program tells the story of police officers who take care of the various incidents that occur at the Han River. The drama will be helmed by director Kim Sang Chul and air via an OTT (over-the-top) streaming platform.

MEET THE LEADS

Bae Da Bin, who made a great impression in various dramas including My ID is Gangnam Beauty and Do You Like Brahms?, will play Ichon Station’s police corporal Do Na Hee. She is a figure who continues to express her feelings without giving up to Mangwon Station’s police sergeant Han Doo Jin.

Meanwhile, Lee Sang Yi, who made his debut through the 2014 musical Grease, and captured the hearts of K-Drama fans in dramas Once Again, Youth of May, and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, will also join the cast. As of current writing there’s no news as to what his role will be but the viewers can expect an iconic transformation from one of the industry’s best talents.

Earlier in July, actor Kwon Sang Woo was revealed to be in talks to star as Han Doo Jin. Kim Hee Won and Shin Hyun Seung were also reported to be a part of the stellar cast.

Fans should continue to look out for more updates regarding the date of the drama’s airing as well as the other cast members who will join Lee Sang Yi and Bae Da Bin.
