Send your well-wishes and words of comfort now to Moonbin and Sanha, AROHAs. Both idols have recently tested positive for COVID-19, requiring them to halt their comeback preparations.

Fantagio has recently made an important announcement regarding the current health condition of two of their prized artists, ASTRO’s Moonbin and Sanha.

On March 7, the agency released an official statement saying that both idols have recently contracted the COVID-19 virus, ahead of their highly-awaited comeback as a unit.

Fantagio revealed that Moonbin started experiencing mild cold symptoms on March 6 so he immediately took a self-test kit, which came back as negative. However, his cold symptoms continued requiring him to undergo rapid antigen testing. Moonbin received a positive result and took a confirmatory PCR testing immediately. He got his official diagnosis on the evening of March 7.

Meanwhile, Sanha, who has had overlapping activities with Moonbin, also took a rapid antigen test after learning that his bandmate tested positive. He got a negative result but the agency decided to still proceed with a COVID-19 PCR test for the sake of their artist’s health and as a proactive measure. Unfortunately, he tested positive on the same day Moonbin received his final diagnosis.

Fantagio added that Moonbin has no other symptoms besides mild cold symptoms, while Yoon Sanha is asymptomatic. Assuring fans, the agency stated that both members will follow COVID-19 guidelines according to health authorities and focus on treatment and recovery.

ASTRO AND AROHAS AS ONE

With the sudden news, Moonbin and Sanha will halt their scheduled activities. “We will make another announcement about the artists’ upcoming promotions once they are released from quarantine,” the agency stated.

Regarding the group’s anniversary fan meeting 2022 ASTRO AROHA FESTIVAL [GATE 6], Fantagio stated that they will release an official announcement regarding its postponement and new schedule.

“We ask for your understanding for causing worry to many people. In the future too, we will prioritize the health of our artists and staff. While following guidelines from health authorities, we will do everything we can for our artists’ quick recovery,” the agency concluded.

Soon after the news came out, AROHAs from all over the world immediately sent their well-wishes to their beloved idols. The messages they sent were all full of love and sincerity, with hopes to ease the worries Moonbin and Sanha are experiencing.
