Titled “Scenery” (literal translation), the BTS vocalist’s first ever self-composed track speaks directly to our souls. It defined what a work of art – especially in the form of a song – it truly is.

Right from the song’s intro, you could tell how much time, thoughts, and effort V had put in to make the song – which poetic lyrics and composition were all solely done by him.

Staying true to his nickname, Vante made the cover art of the song. It shows his versatility not just as a musician, but also as a full-blown artist.

Quick Track Review

“Scenery” begins with tranquilizing sound of white noise and chime. Painting a beautiful love yearning picture, the calming rhythm continues all throughout coupled with V’s soulful voice.

Showing V’s impeccable attention to details, the comforting track includes sounds of camera shutter. It smartly layers with the metaphor he used on how he wants to keep all the beautiful moments and memories as if he was taking photos.

Feeling the heartfelt sentiments of the lyrics, V’s warm and soothing voice perfectly combines with the piano and string instruments used. It makes the listener imagine a picturesque scenery that creates an unforgettable memory with a lover.

A confession, a promise and a longing — BTS’ V’s “Scenery” is a sweet love serenade.
