Mnet’s “Kingdom: Legendary War” Begins With A Fierce Round Of Introductory Stages Ahead Of Its Premiere

Kingdom: Legendary War kicked off to a heated start as its competitors met face-to-face for preliminary introduction stages before the show’s official premiere in April!

The first introduction stages for Mnet’s Kingdom: Legendary War aired on February 23 on Mnet’s official YouTube channel. The short preliminary stages provided teams with 100-seconds to show their unique colors and stage charisma ahead of the show’s official premiere in April. Teams participating in Mnet’s competition show include ATEEZ, BTOB, iKON, SF9, Stray Kids, and THE BOYZ.

To open the show, ATEEZ boasted a darker stage titled, “WAVE: Overture”, emphasizing their unique pirate-concept. The group also highlighted their intense performance skills and stage presence, impressing with a grand rendition of their title track “Wave”. BTOB followed this with a sentimental ballad stage. The group opted to showcase their lovely vocals and emotive singing in the rearrangement of their track, “Beautiful Pain”, moving listeners with their performance.

Meanwhile, SF9 chose one of their hit tracks, “Good Guy” to perform. Wearing black and white suits, the members enthralled fans with their dancing before launching into their catchy song. After, Stray Kids took to the stage to perform “MIROH”. The group displayed their strength in teamwork and admirable live performing capabilities during the powerful stage.

THE BOYZ, who took home the crown during Road To Kingdom, showed their competitiveness in a fierce and eerie performance of “The Stealer”. The group displayed their ambition for this upcoming series, as well as the dominating stages they have to offer. The last performer for the introduction episode, iKON, performed their popular track, “RHYTHM TA”. The energetic performance raised expectations for the group’s upcoming stages once the show officially begins airing.

The Global Vote

Fans all across the world can vote for three of their favorite preliminary stages. Due to a surge in global voters, Mnet extended voting until February 27.

The production team thanked worldwide fans for their immense support, explaining, “The number of concurrent Whosfan users will be increased and the voting period, which was scheduled for one hour today, will be extended from the end of streaming to 11:59 PM on Saturday, February 27.”

Additionally, Mnet stated, “We apologize for not having a smooth vote. We will announce detailed voting methods through Mnet’s official SNS channel. We as for your understanding. Three votes per user will be given and a total of three teams can be voted for. Duplicate voting is not possible”.

Kingdom: Legendary War will premiere April 1 at 7:50 PM KST.
