MONSTA X’s Joohoney To Host First Episode Of “Idol Radio Season 2” Alone, Hyungwon Still In Self-Quarantine
Heads up, MONBEBE! We have more weekly contents from our favorite monstas!
MONBEBE really are up for lots of contents as MONSTA X’s Hyungwon and Joohoney become regular hosts for MBC Radio’s Idol Radio Season 2.
On August 5, UNIVERSE and MBC Radio revealed Hyungwon and Joohoney’s participation as the new DJs for the radio show. However, the first episode on August 9 will only see Joohoney as Hyungwon is still under self-quarantine.
Earlier, MONSTA X’s face genius and resident DJ H. One was reported to have been in close contact with one of the COVID-19 positive staff members from the filming of his web drama Fly Again. As a result of this, he was required to follow proper health guidelines and had himself under self-quarantine after testing negative for the virus.
Even though the first broadcast of Idol Radio Season 2 will be carried out by Joohoney alone, the following episodes will witness the jagiyas’ remarkable chemistry with high-level hosting skills and refreshing charms. In particular, the two plan to naturally lead the idol groups, who will appear as guests. They will wittily meet listeners of Idol Radio with sympathy and humor, which are all possible because of their six-year experience as idols.
Moreover, Hyungwon and Joohoney expressed their happiness as new DJs for the radio show. “We will do our best as new hosts who will be responsible for bringing energy and laughter to our listeners,” Hyungwon and Joohoney said through Starship Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Idol Radio Season 2 will be broadcasted live every Monday and Thursday at 8:00 PM KST through the UNIVERSE app. It can also be heard on MBC Radio (95.9 MHz in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province) every Friday and Saturday at 2:00 AM KST. While listeners can tune in to the replay on MBC FM4U (91.9 MHz in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province) every Saturday and Sunday at midnight.
