BTS Scores 7 Nominations For “2022 Billboard Music Awards”
BTS sets a new personal best record with their recent nominations!
Worldwide phenomenal boy group BTS has raked in an impressive seven nominations for the upcoming 2022 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs).
Just recently, the BBMAs unveiled its full list of nominees for this year’s award ceremony. Notably, BTS received the most number of nominations for any group or duo on the roster.

For the fourth consecutive year, BTS has been nominated for the Top Duo/Group award. They obtained this recognition in 2019 and 2021.
Next, the group is vying to win the Top Song Sales Artist and Top Selling Song for their smash English tracks “Butter” and “Permission to Dance,” respectively.
In addition, their record-breaking single “Butter” received nominations in new categories such as the Top Billboard Global Artist (Excluding U.S.) and Top Billboard Global Song (Excluding U.S.). Together with Coldplay, BTS also received a nomination for the Top Rock Song award with their collaboration song “My Universe.”
In 2021, the septet earned four nominations and eventually swept all of them. They bagged the Top Social Artist for the fifth straight time, and won the Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, and Top Selling Song for their record-breaking hit song “Dynamite.”
The 2022 BBMAs will happen live in Las Vegas on May 15 at 8 PM E.T.
