FIFTY FIFTY is Gearing Up For A New Chapter With KEENA At The Center

Get ready for a revamped Fifty Fifty in 2024!

Recently, ATTRAKT, the management agency for FIFTY FIFTY, stated, “We are currently contemplating reorganizing the group with KEENA as the focal point,” and indicated, “There is a strong likelihood of restructuring the group as a four-member ensemble, maintaining the existing member count.”

FIFTY FIFTY made its debut in November of last year, earning the moniker of a ‘small-to-medium-sized miracle’ by achieving new milestones on major international music charts through their track “Cupid.”

However, in June of this year, the girl group initiated legal proceedings by seeking a temporary injunction to terminate their exclusive contract with ATTRAKT. Subsequently, unfavorable evidence emerged against Dougie Bus and CEO Ahn Seong-il, individuals alleged by ATTRAKT CEO Jeon Hong-jun to be the masterminds behind a scheme to poach group members. The court dismissed the injunction case, stating that it was challenging to establish violations of obligations such as providing settlement data and healthcare. Despite objections and appeals from the members, their efforts were unsuccessful.

Last month, member KEENA withdrew the lawsuit and returned to ATTRAKT, while the remaining members, ARAN, SIO, and SAENA, continued to make disclosures on social media. Consequently, Attract notified the remaining three members, excluding KEENA, of the termination of their exclusive contracts.

ATTRAKT stated, “The three members, ARAN, SIO, and SAENA, left the agency without authorization with the intention of breaching their contracts, and they have engaged in defamatory and slanderous acts against the agency. They persist in advocating claims that the court previously rejected regarding contract violations.” Attract affirmed that the facts were being distorted and false statements were being made and expressed their intention to take strong legal action against all parties involved in the conspiracy to terminate their contracts who do not exhibit any remorse.

Meanwhile, FIFTY FIFTY is nominated in two categories at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards in the U.S. scheduled for November 19th. Accordingly, KEENA is planning to attend the awards ceremony as a solo representative.
