(G)I-DLE Sets Records As They Enter 5 Billboard Charts With “I Trust”

(G)I-DLE has been on a roll! They released their mini album titled I Trust recently which has been applauded by their fans.

Through their mini album, the group proved their global popularity as they entered 5 US Billboard charts. According to the latest chart published on Billboard on April 14, I Trust which released on April 6, has taken position at No.4 on the World Albums chart, marking it as (G)I-DLE’s highest record yet. The title track “Oh my god” appeared in the World Digital Song Sales chart at No.3.

Additionally, (G)I-DLE also acquired a spot in the Social 50 chart at No.17, No.25 on Emerging Artists and No.81 on Top Current Album Sales as well.

Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua have been showing their formidable talent as a group and it reflects in these charts especially when they have consecutively breaking their own records.

​Notably, right after the release, I Trust topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 58 countries worldwide.

(G) – IDLE I trust

Not only did the album’s title track “Oh My God” ranked 1st on Korean music charts. Impressively, it scored at No.1 on US iTunes and weekly K-Pop chart on NetEase Music (China).

Besides, the MV for “Oh My God” reached 17 million views on YouTube within a day upon release, 30 million after 2 days, then 56.6 million after 9 days.

The sales of I Trust also recorded outstanding results with 112,000 copies sold in the first week, 6 times higher than the sales of the second mini-album I made.

Post the release of this album, it is safe to state that (G)I-DLE have achieved impressive feats and consolidated their position as a global trend.
