Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin are finally tying the knot this March!
Proving that “reel to real” truly exists, South Korean celebrity couple Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin has finally announced their marriage through separate Instagram posts.
Earlier today, the couple took the whole K-Drama land by surprise with their recent Instagram posts, saying that they will be tying the knot very soon.
Following their statements, their agencies, VAST Entertainment and MS Team Entertainment confirmed the exciting news and revealed that the wedding will take place in Seoul in March. Due to the continuous effects of COVID-19, Hyun Bin and Ye Jin will be having a quiet, private ceremony with the bride and groom’s parents and their close acquaintances.
VAST Entertainment said, “We ask for your blessings and support for the future of the two people who have made precious decisions in life as individuals before becoming actors.”
Meanwhile, MS Team stated, “Please send blessings and support to the two people who have a special and precious start in their lives together.”
HYUN BIN’S LETTER TO FANS
Accompanying their messages for their supporters, the couple posted two meaningful and heart-fluttering photos that symbolize their love for each other. Son Ye Jin’s post has a miniature wedding dress, while Hyun Bin’s picture shows their hands tightly intertwined.
Hyun Bin began his personal statement by stating that he wanted his fans to know first about the most important decision of his life.
Emphasizing how vital Crash Landing On You is in their journey, Hyun Bin sweetly stated in his message that the ‘Jung Hyuk and Se Ri’ who captured the hearts of many in the drama will “take the first step together in the future.”
“Probably many of you have guessed, right? It’s true. I have made the important decision of marriage and am cautiously taking steps toward the second stage of my life. I have made this promise with the woman who always makes me laugh (Son Ye Jin): to always walk together in the days that lie ahead.”
He added, “I also believe that people will rejoice and celebrate our first steps together with the same affection and warmth that you have shown us so far. Until we can meet in person again, please stay happy and healthy.”

Meanwhile, Son Ye Jin also considers her upcoming marriage as a “precious and important thing,” which is why she gave her letter a lot of thought first in order to fully express her emotions.

Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin first worked together through the 2017 movie Negotiation and became good friends afterwards. They met again through the hit 2019 series Crash Landing On You and shortly developed into lovers after the show’s airing. They later confirmed their relationship in January 2021.
