On July 12, Ji Chang Wook‘s agency, Glorious Entertainment made a statement to announce the actor’s upcoming military enlistment plan.

Actor Ji Chang Wook will be entering the military as an active duty soldier on August 14. Ji Chang Wook is scheduled to join a boot camp in Cheorwon county, Gangwon-do on August 14.

After completing his basic military training there, he will work hard to fulfill his assigned military duty.

It has been 10 years since Ji’s debut in 2008. He has since been actively participating in TV shows, movies, dramas, and musicals, which have helped him improve his acting skills.

After finishing his role in the SBS’ current drama ‘Suspicious partner,’ he will be fulfilling his mandatory military duty as a Korean man. He will be returning as a more mature man after military discharge, so please keep waiting and supporting him.

According to the statement, Ji Chang Wook will officially enter the army on August 14. Ahead of military enlistment, the heartthrob is scheduled to hold a concert to bid farewell his fans. The event will take place on July 22 at Olympic Park, in Seoul, South Korea.

Meanwhile, the idol recently took on the main role in SBS drama dubbed Suspicious Partner, together with actress Nam Ji Hyun. The TV series is set to wrap up on July 13.
