A fresh new start for Kim Min Kyu!

Rising South Korean actor Kim Min Kyu has joined a new agency, Companion Company.

On February 13, he signed an exclusive contract with the newly-established agency to take a new leap forward.

Kim Min Kyu, who debuted in the tvN drama Monster in 2013, is in the limelight as an actor who combines star quality and acting skills with excellent character digestion, delicate expressive power, and a clean image.

In particular, in last year’s drama A Business Proposal, he took on the role of Cha Seong Hun and impressed women by expressing a character of good character with both friendliness and loyalty at the same time. Additionally, he starred in numerous works including Signal, Because This Is My First Life, Perfume, Queen: Love and War, Backstreet Rookie, and Snowdrop.

The agency Companion co said, “As we are starting anew with a strong relationship of trust with people who have been working together for a long time, we will spare no effort in providing full support for activities in all fields so that we can carry out activities in various fields.” 

Moreover, the agency shared to do its best to support its new prized actor. “As he has accumulated solid acting skills through this, we will do our best to support him so that he can spread a diverse spectrum of acting through a wide range of activities in the future.”

Meanwhile, Kim Min Kyu is currently delighting viewers in the ongoing drama The Heavenly Idol.
