MONSTA X’s I.M Official Leaves Starship Entertainment, Will Continue With MONSTA X

The MONSTA X member decides to continue as a member of the group but officially leaves Starship Entertainment.

On the evening of August 8, Starship Entertainment shared that the outspoken rapper has decided to part ways with the agency.

According to the agency, the decision to end the contract was mutually agreed on after a long period of discussion. However, Starship Entertainment added that “I.M has agreed to continue and participate in MONSTA X’s future plans.”

“We will support him wholeheartedly for both his participation as a member of MONSTA X and as an individual artist. It has been a month since MONSTA X took a break. We are working on various plans with the members to return the unconditional love we have received from MONBEBE. Please continue to send your unwavering love and support to the six members of MONSTA X.”

I.M Shares Hand Written Letter

Shortly after the announcement was made, I.M uploaded a handwritten letter to the Monsta X fan cafe to comfort Monbebe around the world. MONSTA X took over the Twitter platform, along with the hashtag #Changkyun.

Meanwhile, MONSTA X is set to headline Nickfest October 23-24. No details yet about a possible comeback. Their last comeback was with the EP Love in April 2022.
