NU’EST W Members Seek To Deliver Their Love To Fans Through “Wake,N”
NU’EST W is back with its final album as a sub-unit!
JR, Baekho, Aron, and Ren returned with their third and last album as NU’EST W on November 26.
Titled Wake,N, the album contains seven tracks led by “Help Me”, a fusion of pop rhythm and blues, with a sharp melody that contrasts the emotional lyrics of the song penned by JR and Baekho.
Other than “Help Me”, Wake,N also features each member’s solo song.
Aron wrote “Wifi”, a song which expresses the happiness of getting closer to someone. Meanwhile, JR goes for a hard-hitting song “I Hate You”, which dwells on the rage caused by relationships. Baekho’s “Feels”, on the other hand, is about the joy of “you” becoming part of “me”.
While Aron, JR, and Baekho sing about relationships between two people, Ren goes for a more personal song about the sadness of realizing the truth about becoming an adult in “Me, To You”.

According to JR, the album consists of group songs, which express waking up from sleep and solo songs that talk about feelings of coming alive.
“Our main focus for this album was to deliver the lyrics well,” JR said during the comeback showcase of the boy group held on November 26.

Moreover, NU’EST W seeks to provide Loves, its fan club, comfort through the Wake,N.
“We could sing because our fans send us support. Our wish is for the album to deliver our love to fans who have always given love to us,” JR said.
Ren added that Loves are the light that shine their path.
Future Activities as a Complete NU’EST
After more than a year of activities with Wanna One, Hwang Min Hyun is set to return to his original group NU’EST, following the end of Wanna One’s contract.
Asked about what holds for NU’EST in the future, JR said nothing concrete has been discussed at the moment.
“I can’t say anything as we haven’t discussed or confirmed anything yet,” he said, adding that the group’s focus at the moment is on the new album.
