SEVENTEEN Takes Over Global Music Charts + Hits Incredible Sales Record With “Your Choice”

K-pop powerhouse boy group SEVENTEEN has started to show an amazing performance on the global music charts with their latest comeback.

On June 18 at 6 PM KST, the 13-member group gifted fans with their eighth mini-album Your Choice and the title track “Ready to Love.” Quickly after its global release, the song impressively took over the top spot of major domestic music sites such as Melon and Bugs. It also achieved first place on the Japanese music sites including Line Music and AWA.

Additionally, “Ready to Love” topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in a total of 22 regions including Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay, and reached the TOP 10 in 29 regions.

SEVENTEEN’s latest mini-album Your Choice also dominated the iTunes  Top Albums chart in 18 regions including Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore.  Moreover, it ranked No.1 on Oricon’s daily album chart in Japan and QQ Music’s daily and weekly bestselling albums charts in China.

Aside from dominating the global music charts, the multi-talented group also recorded an amazing number of album sales on its first day.

According to Hanteo Chart, the largest album sales site in Korea, they already surpassed 880,000 copies on the first day of release and ranked first in the real-time ranking, proving their amazing power as a “Triple Million Seller.” Remarkably, the boys doubled their previous best first-day sales record of 462,003 for their 2020 mini-album Heng:garæ.
