Seventeen’s S.Coups Shed Tears Remembering His Grandmother

Don’t cry, S.Coups!

Seventeen‘s leader S.Coups shed tears during a hypnosis session in an un-aired clip of the group’s recent appearance in MBC Music Star Show 360.

The idol underwent hypnosis session wherein he was asked to recall his life’s happiest and hardest times. At the middle of the session, S.Coups cried as he recounted an incident involving his grandmother.

“Before debut, my grandmother passed out and was brought to the hospital a little bit late,” he said, keeping his eyes closed.

S.Coups shared that he thought his grandmother would die in that moment. “I could not imagine if my grandmother died,” he said in-between tears.

“If she died back then, can I perform well on stage?” he continued. He also admitted that the incident has brought him feelings of uneasiness and worry, especially during that time.

“Right now, I feel a lot better but at that time it was quite hard for me,” he said.

The hypnotist then instructed S.Coups to go back to that day and look deep into the incident. “Now, keep in your mind that you can do better to your grandmother,” he further instructed.

“It feels like I really draw all the memories in my head when I was hypnotized,” said S.Coups, after waking up from the hypnosis.

The thirteen members of Seventeen recently appeared on ‘MBC Music Star Show 360’ where they showed their variety skills and superb performances of their songs. The members also tried their hands into acting by reenacting scenes from famous movies.
