After 11 years, Minho is up for a solo release!

It may have taken too long, but SHINee’s Minho is finally coming out with his first ever solo song this March through SM Station Season 3.

SM Entertainment confirmed on March 19 that the singer-actor will serve as the ninth runner of the third season of its digital music project. Titled “I’m Home”, the new song will showcase a different side of the SHINee member who actively pursued an acting career outside of his activities in the group. It will also leave a lasting impression on fans especially since it comes close to his impending enlistment which will reportedly happen sometime in April.

The upcoming song will come out on March 28 at 6 p.m. through various online music sites. With Minho’s participation as the ninth runner of the third season, all members of SHINee have taken part in the digital music project which kicked off in February 2016.

SM Station Season 1 saw the participation of Jonghyun and Onew. Both Jonghyun and Onew contributed in the season, along with Taemin. SM Station Season 3 marked Key’s first single for the digital music project.

Meanwhile, Minho will hold the encore of his fan meeting tour titled The Best CHOI’s MINHO on March 30 at the Hwajeong Gymnasium of Korea University.

Additionally, the SHINee member will start his mandatory military service soon. Although no specific date has been released as of press time, SM Entertainment confirmed he applied to join the Marine Corps.
