Song Joong Ki Is The Most Influential Hallyu Star In China This Year

It’s no surprise that actor Song Joong Ki was selected as the most influential Hallyu star in China this year!

According to Customer Council, a survey was conducted by China’s People’s Daily newspaper on 189,027 readers, from May 26 to June 5, to find out 10 most-liked and influential Korean artists. Thanks to the overwhelming popularity of the hit drama Descendants of the Sun, Song Joong Ki successfully took the first place on the list.

The remaining 9 influential Hallyu celebrities are revealed to be Lee Min Ho, Kim Soo Hyun, EXO, Song Hye Kyo, Hwang Chi Yeul, Park Hae Jin, Jun Ji Hyun, Park Bo Gum and BIGBANG.

Customer Council has given Brand of the Year award to the top 10 Hallyu stars in China since 2015, when Kim Soo Hyun of hit drama My Love from the Star was at the top of the list.
