BTS’ Suga Collaborates With Halsey For An Incredible Interlude To Remember

“Min PD-nim” has been very busy this year as he works on a plethora of new music.

Other than being an idol, BTS’ member Suga is also a talented producer, composer and lyricist. Keeping himself busy, Suga brings forth yet another iconic music to feast the fans.

On December 6, Halsey unveiled her digital single titled, “SUGA’s Interlude” which also features Suga. After “Boy With Luv,” this is the second time Halsey is collaborating with a BTS member.

Suga has produced, composed and worked on the lyrics of the song. In his lyrics, he talks about the emotions that keep resurfacing which hinders oneself from gaining happiness. “SUGA’s Interlude” is one of the tracks from Halsey’s new album Manic, which will be released on January 17, 2020. Halsey said that she decided to work with the rapper since he is an artist who perfectly fits her new album.

Previously on December 3, Halsey announced her collaboration with Suga through her SNS channel live broadcast.  In a video revealing the tracklist of the new album, “SUGA’s Interlude” was introduced as the thirteenth track. Later, it was announced that “SUGA’s Interlude” will be released on December 6, raising the expectations of fans around the world.

Apart from his activities as a BTS member, Suga has also collaborated with various artists and created high-quality music. This year, he collaborated with Lee Sora, Heize and Epik High and he featured in Lee Sora’s “Song Request” for which he wrote the lyrics as well. Then, he produced Heize’s “We Don’t Talk Together” featuring Giriboi and Epik High’s “Eternal Sunshine”.

“Song Request” won the award for Best Collaboration at the 2019 MAMA. On the other hand, “We Don’t Talk Together Anymore” won the award for Best R&B/Soul at the 2019 MMA. These achievements further bolsters Suga’s credibility as a producer.
