We feel you, TVXQ Cassies!
As announced by SM Entertainment, TVXQ’s Yunho is set to complete his 21-month mandatory military service on April 20. He will meet fans and the press at his discharge ceremony in Yangju, Gyeonggi province on the same day.
On behalf of Yunho, the agency expressed its gratitude to fans via TVXQ’s official website for their long wait during his military duty period.
In order to ensure the safety of fans and the press, the label also kindly asked them to abide by the safety guidance at the event, stating “Please keep in mind that the site is a military zone. We ask you to be careful.”
Yunho began his mandatory military service on July 21, 2015, and then served as a member of the military band in the army. He won the ‘Best Recruit’ award for his aptitude and diligence after completing five weeks of basic military training. He was also voted as a ‘special warrior’ last May after getting high scores on physical, mental and combat skills.
Meanwhile, his groupmate Changmin is currently serving as a policeman at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. He is scheduled to return to civilian life in August.
