Tickets Sold For BTS’ “Burn The Stage: The Movie” Surpass 100,000 Ahead Of Release

BTS proves its status as one of the most in-demand boy groups as Burn the Stage: The Movie ranks number one in South Korea even with days ahead of its release!

The big screen offering of Burn the Stage: The Movie which chronicles the 2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III: The Wings Tour of the phenomenal boy group has been met with much excitement from fans all over the world especially ARMYs in South Korea who can’t wait for D-Day to arrive.

Set to be released on November 15, the film which will mark the boy group’s big screen debut has already amassed more than 100,000 tickets reserved as of November 11.

Based on the data compiled by the Korean Film Council, Burn the Stage: The Movie has recorded the highest ticket reservation rate among films at the local cinemas with 26.8 percent.

It overtook Bohemian Rhapsody and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald which had ticket reservation rates of 21 percent and 20.4 percent, respectively.

Aside from its local screening at the CGV Multiplex Theater, the film will also be shown in more than 40 countries in Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America beginning on November 15.

Trafalgar Releasing, the distributor who acquired the global rights to distribute the documentary, has released the list of countries which will see the film screened on the big screen this week. See list below.
