In the recent episode, the character Seo Dae-young (Jin Goo) was driving Yoon Myung-joo (Kim Ji Won) back home in a Hyundai Motor luxury Genesis sedan. Unexpectedly, he took his hands off from the steering wheel to kiss her. The car was driving autonomously by itself for a few minutes, with the two kissing each other. For a romantic scene, it has become highly dangerous to viewers.

After the show, netizens started to post against the aggressive product placement ads in the show on various Korean websites. They stated that they were intolerable with such scene that poses danger to the safety of both actors and road users.

A netizen, known as phb0, said, “Considering the production cost of the drama was 13 billion won, the drama has to put some advertisements in, but this one went too far.”

Apart from the Hyundai car advertisement, a franchise café, kitchenware, sandwiches, almonds and a chocolate bar were also alleged to be product placement ads in the latest episode.
