NU’EST Splashes More Mystery With Teasers Featuring Ren For “The Nocturne” Comeback
NU’EST added to the wave of excitement that fans feel for their nearing comeback with new enigmatic teasers starring Ren.
The anticipation for the release of The Nocturne this May 11 further heightens as NU’EST shrouds their concept with even more mystery through their latest teaser reveal featuring Ren.
In the trailer video released on April 23 at midnight KST, Ren first appeared sound asleep on a dark street, which immediately drew fans’ attention.
The still silence then got broken as a water droplet hit his palm and made him get up on his feet immediately. Continuing to follow the water droplets falling before his eyes, he soon arrived at a shabby restaurant which he cautiously entered.
Sitting across a woman, Ren showed confusion at the water pooling at his feet. This made him look under the table—which made him discover that the woman across him has the lower half of a mermaid. Sitting up immediately, a huge wave of water hit him at the same time which took him by surprise.
Heightening the mystery around NU’EST’s concept, the clip flashed the phrase “The night gave us a dream, and we’re not afraid of it”. Just like Ren in Minhyun’s video, Baekho also appeared as Ren’s clip ended, flashing a look in his eyes that held an emotion which further added to the tension in the trailer.
At 7 PM KST, the group also shared the teaser photo featuring Ren. Comfortably splayed on top of a table, his photo showed him sleeping which circles back to the trailer.
Drawing fans in with the cinematography and visuals they have displayed, the NU’EST members whose trailers were already revealed had also effectively raised fans’ curiosity with their thrilling storyline ahead of their return this May 11.
