NCT DoJaeJung Talks About Love For Filipino NCTzens & Goals As A Unit

Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo share their thoughts about their fans in the Philippines and their goals as a unit.

After a successful fan concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last Saturday, NCT DoJaeJung – comprised of members Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo – met with the media the following afternoon to talk about their unit.

Warm welcome from NCTzens

Welcomed by a jam-packed crowd at the Glorietta Activity Center, the trio appeared in the venue, looking overwhelmed by the good energy from their fans. Quickly after introducing themselves, the NCTzens (NCT’s fandom name) leveled up their cheers to show how much they love to see their favorite idols.

Waving and smiling while looking at their fans, the boys expressed their excitement and gratitude to the audience. Jungwoo praised the fans for their “warmth” while Jaehyun describes it as an “honor” to receive such energy. 

Doyoung also shared how much he appreciates the support that they have been receiving from Filipino fans. He said, “When I saw all of you here, I was able to feel how much you have waited for us. I feel how much you love us, so I really appreciate this time.”

Lingering music

Released on April 17 this year, NCT DoJaeJung’s first mini-album PERFUME aims to leave lingering music to listeners. It consists of six tracks: “Perfume,” “Kiss,” “Dive,” “Strawberry Sunday,” “Can We Go Back,” and “Ordinary.” The title song of the same name is in the R&B genre and conveys a message to lovers. 

The members shared that they are happy to be able to find and create their own scent as artists and are looking forward to showing more of themselves in the future. Opening up about their goals, the trio revealed that they hope to create more good music and cool performances, and ultimately, meet more fans around the world and hold a concert tour.
