NCT DREAM Gifts Booming Stages And Beautiful Memories To Filipino Fans Through “The Dream Show In Manila”
Drippin’ with so much talent and charisma, NCT DREAM delivered undeniably breathtaking performances in their first-ever solo concert in Manila!
K-Pop’s super teenager group, NCT DREAM, delighted fans as they held their much-anticipated NCT DREAM TOUR “THE DREAM SHOW” – in Manila at The New Frontier Theater on February 29, 2020.
One of the most requested acts to perform in the Philippines has finally fulfilled the wishes of their supporters. NCT DREAM capped off the Manila concert for their Dream Show Tour – and with a very resounding “boom”, of course!
Showing their strong stage presence, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung gave their all as they delivered powerful performances in front of their Filipino fans. With the six of them owning the stage, NCTzens were left in awe at how talented and spirited the young boys are.
A Complete Roller-coaster Ride
Even before the concert started, NCTzens were already singing along with NCT DREAM’s songs that have been playing. As the melody of “Dear Dream” which marked the song to officially start the show filled the arena, fans could not help but match the group’s energy on stage with their loudest and most enthusiastic screams.
The concert started off in high spirit as the group gave an electrifying performance of the fan favorite “Go.” Adding more fuel to the already blazing fire, the group went on to grace the stage with powerful dances to “Drippin’”, “119”, “1,2,3”, “We Go Up”, and “Stronger”.
Thanks to the group’s youthful charms and overflowing energy, the fans could not help but sing along to every word of “We Go Up”. After the first set of songs, the members finally greeted their fans as they introduced themselves one by one.
What made the NCTzens squeal in delight even more were the adorable Filipino language greetings made by the group one by one.
Each member showed their effort in learning so many Filipino words to further connect and get closer to their fans since their last visit to Manila. All of their messages delivered in the local language that were longer than four sentences mostly contained such heartwarming expressions of love and gratitude.
After having their hearts bursting with adorable greetings, NCTzens were gifted with a VCR of the boys. No more time was wasted afterwards as the boys reappeared and took the stage once again to perform their hit songs, “Dunk Shot”, “Chewing Gum”, “Dream Run”, “Walk You Home”, and “Candle Light.”
The fans continued to be mesmerized as the boys kept on providing explosive stages. Chenle showcased his talent in piano as he marked the start of “Best Friend”. The boys also performed their popular songs “We Young”, “My First and Last”, “My Page”, and “Bye, My First”.
All of the young and dashing NCT DREAM members are also astoundingly talented dancers – and they personally proved it again by making fans witness the powerful solo dance special stages that they prepared.
As the concert got closer to the end, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung performed “Don’t Need Your Love”, “Fireflies”, “Trigger the Fever”, “BOOM”, and “La la Love”.
Noting the warm welcome and high energy they received from the crowd all throughout the show, the boys then thanked the fans for watching their concert and assured them that there will be definitely a next time.
NCT DREAM then closed off the show with an endearing stage of “Beautiful Time” where fans also sang along with them.
The concert officially ended after a video filmed and produced by Jaemin himself as a gift was played. Although it was hard to say goodbye, fans left the venue with their hearts full of bliss and the biggest smiles painted on their faces.
