We The Fest is back with more amazing shows this year just for you. The shows were announced to be on July 12, 20 and 21.

We The Fest is an annual summer festival of music, arts, fashion and food taking place in Indonesia’s capital of Jakarta. The three-day annual fest since 2004 has brought the best performances from worldwide artists of different genres.

Dean is coming!

Dean, the South Korean sensation. The 26-year-old singer, who is a South Korean alternative R&B singer-songwriter, rapper and record producer, will be joining the crowd for the first time. The singer is also known for his  multiple collaborations with both American and South Korean artists. Year 2018 edition showcased K-Pop artist Eric Nam, and for 2019, Dean is set to show off his influential music skills.

The Lineup

With much planning and dedication from the organizers Ismaya Live, the phase 1 lineup is now finalized.

Hitting the global audience with their latest hit “Black Beatles”, the hip-hop duo Rae Sremmurd will be leading the show; then joins by Daniel Caesar, the R&B icon who has been nominated for multi Grammys. He grabbed the attention of many through his album Freudian in 2017.  One of the hottest breakthrough acts, 6Lack is marking their presence too.

Returning back to fans is the favorite Cigarettes After Sex, who will blow everyone with their sultry and emotional tracks. The future-bass connoisseur San Holo and one of house music’s rising stars Yaeji will be there too. Together with Australia’s most sought after DJ Anna Lunoe and New Zealand indie-pop sensation Baynk, they are ready to give us the best show in the history.

Toronto indie five-piece band Alvvays will be going down with a treat of sugary melodies and dreamy chord progressions, including Jess Connelly, Sabrina Claudio and Rad Museum’s unique brand of soulful R&B.

Local display of Indonesian talents will follow along with the likes of Coldiac, TULUS, and Feast and rock outfit DEWA19 featuring Ari Lasso & Dul Jaelani; declaring why Jakarta continues to put out some of the most exciting music in the region.

With many more names yet to be announced, as well as plenty of surprises in store for attendees, We The Fest 2019 is already placing its potentiality for the history books.
