ASTRO‘s Eun Woo held a V Live broadcast hours before his 20th birthday (21 in Korean age) came to a close on March 30.

The vocalist and visual of the Korean boy group relayed his gratitude for the birthday wishes and greetings he received. He also shared to fans the surprise that his fellow members had prepared for his birthday.

According to him, he, along with the other members, was called to gather by their manager to talk about their issues. “We talked about ways to improve ourselves,” he recounted. However, the manager then called out Moon Bin for sleeping all day in the practice room.

“Bin looked angry and sighed in front of our manager,” Eun Woo said. He added that things were getting serious. ASTRO’s leader Jin Jin also jumped in the conversation, saying their manager was being harsh on them. “They were acting so well,” commented Eun Woo, who did not have any idea that he was being pranked.

“Even our leader said that and I was like ‘This is a disaster’,” he added. After Moon Bin went out of the room, there was silence, and his members then entered, singing “Happy Birthday”. Because it was the first time that a prank was pulled on him, Eun Woo said he was dumbfounded, and will never forget this year’s birthday celebration.

Aside from being surprised, the ASTRO member said he was touched, and told his band mates via their group chat that he loves them. He also promised to do more for his members in the future.

Pulling another surprise for Eun Woo, Moon Bin appeared on the broadcast with a cake for him. The idol then shared his thoughts of the prank played on Eunwoo. He said they were trying hard not to laugh, and so he avoided eye contact with the manager.

Moon Bin also expressed his jealousy over Eun Woo’s invitation towards NCT 127 members Johnny and Jaehyun to go to the beach together. “I saw you on the radio show. You asked them to go to the beach. Shouldn’t you go with us first?” he said.

Eun Woo then tried to explain that there is a story behind it but Moon Bin seemed not buying any of it. “I watched it, but you need to bring us first,” he said. The birthday boy then relented, and said they will go together.

ASTRO also revealed that they are preparing hard to come back soon.
