STAYC keeps on demonstrating its rookie power as its latest music release “ASAP” bags an impressive milestone on YouTube!

Despite being a newbie in the K-Pop industry, charming girl group STAYC continues to attain amazing feats with their newest hit titled “ASAP.”

On the evening of April 17, STAYC’s music video for “ASAP” has finally exceeded the 20-million mark on YouTube.

Notably, the rising sextet was able to achieve the said count in just 1 week and 3 days after the song’s global release. Moreover, the artsy and aesthetic music video reached 10 million views in just 3 days, followed by the afore-noted count in just less than a week.

Compared to how their debut song “SO BAD” performed within 10 days, STAYC proved its growth with “ASAP” as it got a higher number of viewership and rating.

With such an applaudable accolade, “ASAP” becomes the fastest music video of the lovely group to surpass 20 million YouTube views since its debut last year. It also became the first-ever MV of STAYC to join the platform’s 20-million club.

On April 8, Sumin, Sieun, Isa, Seeun, Yoon, and J made their trailblazing and breathtaking return with their second single album Staydom. Headlined by the track “ASAP,” the album contains four catchy tracks, including a remix of “SO BAD.”

Characterized by its unique and bubblegum slash retro pop sound, the girls’ title track caught the attention of many as it has the ability to make you dance. It also displays the group’s well-roundedness, particularly their jaw-dropping talent in singing and dancing.

Like any of STAYC’s previous releases, “ASAP” has a fresh beat and melody, all thanks to Black Eyed Pil-Seung and other producers. The lyrics were also beautiful as the idols themselves.

Upon its release, it also entered several Korean real-time music charts such as Bugs and Genie. Moreover, it also swept the No.1 spot on iTunes’ Top K-Pop Album Chart, while simultaneously dominating the Worldwide Album Chart of the same platform.

As if these achievements were not enough, STAYC also graced the cover of Spotify’s official K-Pop playlist, proving their growing influence and popularity.

Moreover, Hanteo Chart reported that the group has also sold 35,518 copies of their album Staydom during its first week. This makes them the current 4th female group with the highest initial sales this 2021 on the said chart.

Meanwhile, STAYC will continue to perform “ASAP” on various music shows in South Korea.
