“It’s Okay To Not Be Okay” Tops Drama Popularity Index + Kim Soo Hyun & Seo Ye Ji Take Top 2 Spots Among Actors

Boasting of an engrossing narrative and stellar actors, tvN’s It’s Okay To Not Be Okay is the most popular K-Drama for this week.

Just first week of its premiere, It’s Okay To Not Be Okay has become the most talked topic among the currently airing K-Dramas. Marking Kim Soo Hyun’s first appearance in a television lead role after his return from the military, the tvN drama has garnered immense attention.

The attractive visuals of Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji received a lot of positive responses. Additionally, both the actors Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji took the first and second spots in the most talked-about actors category.

Among other dramas, KBS 2TV’s Once Again earned the second spot. While its actors Lee Cho Hee and Lee Sang Yeob took the third and fifth spots respectively. Meanwhile, SBS’ new drama, Backstreet Rookie was placed third. Whereas the drama’s lead actor Ji Chang Wook grabbed the fourth place.

Next, on the fourth spot is MBC drama, Kkondae Intern. The main lead of the drama, Park Hae Jin is ranked eighth. Subsequently, tvN’s My Unfamiliar Family earned the fifth place. In addition, the drama’s cast members Choo Ja Hyun and Han Ye Ri were ranked seventh and tenth respectively.

At the sixth rank is jTBC’s Mystic Pop-up Bar, which is followed by SBS’ Good Casting, MBC’s Dinner Mate, tvN’s Oh My Baby and TV Chosun’s King Maker: The Change Of Destiny at the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth spots respectively.

The K-Drama and actor popularity index are measured by analyzing the news articles, blogs/communities, videos, and social media reactions. These measurements are conducted by Good Data Corporation, a TV topic analysis agency. Data from the dates June 15 to 21 were considered for this week’s index.
