BTS’ J-Hope And Becky G Cook Up Their Own Rendition Of “Chicken Noodle Soup”
The secret’s out, ARMYs! J-Hope and Becky G have indeed teamed up for the collaboration of a lifetime.
Barely a week after BTS’ return to the limelight, the septet’s cheery rapper J-Hope took everyone by surprise with his latest release. On September 27, the rapper took the internet by storm as he unveiled his newest track: done in collaboration with Mexican-American artist Becky G.
Together, the two released their own rendition of the popular hit “Chicken Noodle Soup”. J-Hope and Becky G each penned the lyrics to their verses in Korean and Spanish, respectively. As for the chorus, the two sampled Webstar and Young B’s 2006 hit track of the same name.
The brightly-colored music video was directed by Lumpens, who stayed true to the song’s old school roots. The pair definitely showed off how much they had fun in their collaboration, as they danced along to the crowd and dropped their fiery verses. They even invited their listeners to dance along with them through the #CNSChallenge, which is quickly topping Twitter’s trends!
