BLACKPINK Takes Home “Choice Song: Group” Award At The 2019 Teen Choice Awards

Powerhouse quintet BLACKPINK adds another achievement under their belts as they successfully bag the Choice Song: Group award at the recently concluded 2019 Teen Choice Awards.
Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa took home the award for their smash hit, “DDU-DU DDU-DU”. The nominees for the award were Imagine Dragons with “Bad Liar”; 5 Seconds of Summer with“Easier”; Panic! At The Disco with “Hey Look Ma, I Made It”; Jonas Brothers with “Sucker”; and Why Don’t We with “8 Letters”.
Additionally, the group was also nominated for the Choice Fandom, Choice International Artist, and Choice Summer Tour awards. The quintet was one of the Korean acts nominated for awards, alongside Red Velvet, NCT 127, and BTS.
Recently, the quintet celebrated their third anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, each member took to their respective Instagram accounts to share their sentiments about their careers and their gratitude towards their BLINKs. The tag #ThreeYearsWithBLACKPINK became the top trending tag as BLINKs took to Twitter to celebrate with BLACKPINK.
In related news, BLACKPINK is currently the second top girl group in the recently released August Brand Rankings. Additionally, the quartet, who was able to maintain their rank from the previous month, scored a brand reputation index of 7,122,359.
