BTS’ “Butter” Remains Unbeatable At No.1 On Billboard’s Hot 100 & Japan’s Oricon Chart

BTS continues to own the global music spotlight!

Worldwide K-pop boy group BTS remains steady in showing great performance on the music charts around the world with their second digital English single “Butter.”

Just recently, Oricon released its latest chart covering June 7 to 13. According to its recent report, BTS’ “Butter” led the weekly streaming ranking with an impressive 13,664,924 weekly playbacks. Notably, the track has been topping the list for four weeks in a row now. Moreover, it already recorded 77,767,538 cumulative playbacks.

In the same list, BTS’ “Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)” ranked 49th with 1,964,240 weekly views. The song’s cumulative number of plays surpassed 112 million. The septet now has two songs with over 100 million plays including “Dynamite.”

Aside from taking over the Japanese chart, “Butter” also continues to hold the No.1 spot on Billboard’s Hot 100. It ranks the most popular songs in the United States across all genres based on streaming, radio airplay, and sales data. Proving the group’s global status, their latest bop lands at the top spot of the glorious chart for three consecutive weeks now.

Released on May 21, “Butter” is a dance-pop song with a bright and exciting atmosphere. Its accompanying music video catches the eye with the contrast of brilliant colors and the respective charms of the members.
