BTS’ “Film out” Debuts On Billboard’s Hot 100 + Tops World Digital Song Sales Chart
A new set of achievements for BTS’ newest Japanese single!
Worldwide phenomenal boy group BTS has made new records with their latest Japanese track “Film out”.
The well-loved septet dropped “Film out” on April 2 KST. Notably, the track was co-composed by Jungkook. Moreover, it will be included in their upcoming Japanese compilation album BTS, The Best, which will be released on June 16.
According to the latest chart released by Billboard, “Film out” has successfully debuted on the coveted Hot 100. The track specifically ranked 81st on the said main single chart. With this, BTS has created history as they entered the chart with three different languages, including English, Korean, and Japanese. Last year, the boys scored the No.1 spot on the Hot 100 chart with “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On”.
Additionally, “Film out” scored amazing feats on Billboard. It topped the Digital Song Sales chart, ranked third on the Global 200 (excluding the US), and placed fifth on the Global 200 chart.
Aside from dominating the Billboard charts, the track also showed great performance on other charts. It topped Oricon’s weekly digital singles ranking for the week of March 29 to April 4. Moreover, right after the song’s release, it quickly achieved the No.1 spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 99 regions around the world.
