BTS Soars As Top Singer In April Brand Reputation Rankings

Hats off to BTS for leading the brand reputation rankings for singers in April 2022!

Ending the month of April on a positive note, the phenomenal K-Pop boy group BTS definitely dominated the month of April by being the current sought-after K-Pop singer.

According to the recent data released by the Korean Business Research Institute, BTS has once again secured the No. 1 spot in the brand reputation rankings for Korean singers.

The list provided by the organization is based on several factors including consumer participation, media coverage, and media, communication, interaction, and community indices.

Notably, the institute was able to analyze 135,835,516 singer brand big data from March 30 to April 30. Compared to the 125,354,431 star brand big data in March, it increased by 8.36%.

 A WELL-DESERVED REIGN

Big Hit Music’s prized boy group BTS proves their massive influence by scoring a brand reputation index of 10,896,707. It increased by 14.26 percent compared to their data back in March.

Specifically, the boy group had a media index of 3,504,697, a communication index of 2,988,216, and a community index of 2,310,066. Compared to their single brand reputation index of 9, 536,463 in March, it increased by 14.26%.

OTHER ARTISTS WHO DOMINATED THIS MONTH’S LIST

Bagging the second and third places are top boy group BIGBANG and trot singer Lim Young Woong. The former superbly attained a brand reputation index of 9,163,979, while the latter obtained a brand reputation index of 8,161,142. Lim Young Woong’s index increased by 17.01 percent increase since March.

Demonstrating their astounding popularity, leading fourth-generation girl groups (G)I-DLE and IVE scored the fourth and fifth spots. Meanwhile, IU, Im Chang Jung, Lee Chan Won, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, and Red Velvet placed sixth to tenth respectively.
