EXO’s D.O. To Gift Fans With First Solo Album In July

Prepare your hearts for the first solo album of EXO’s D.O!

EXO’s charming vocalist D.O. is finally set to release his highly-awaited solo album very soon.

Just recently, SM Entertainment confirmed the news to the media outlet, Newsen. “D.O will release a solo album at the end of July. We ask for your interest,” the agency said.

Previously, D.O. released his first solo single “That’s okay” through the SM STATION sound source project on July 1, 2019. He also delighted fans with “Cry,” which was part of the official soundtrack for the movie Cart in 2014. Both songs received favorable reviews from many domestic and foreign music fans.

The excitement from fans continues to rise as this is the first time for D.O. to release a solo album under his name. According to reports, his upcoming album will be filled with songs that would highlight his sweet-like honey tone.

Since debuting as a member of EXO in 2012, the multi-talented idol has been recognized for his unique and strong vocal skills. Aside from captivating fans as a K-pop star, he also established himself as an actor. He has accumulated filmography by working on various drama projects such as It’s Okay, That’s Love, Remember You, and My Lady of One Hundred Days. Moreover,  he starred in movies including  Brother, Swing Kids, Room No.7, and Along with the Gods.

Recently, he is filming The Moon, directed by Yonghwa Kim of Along with the Gods, and has been cast as the male lead of Secrets I can’t tell, the Korean remake of a Taiwanese movie.

Meanwhile, EXO’s special album Don’t Fight the Feeling recorded sales of more than one million copies and became their sixth million-seller album.
