Lee Daehwi Gifts Self-Composed Song To Girl Group IZ*ONE For New Album

IZ*ONE is the next artist to receive a song from Lee Daehwi.

Lee Daehwi is confirmed to have produced a track for IZ*ONE as a special gift for their nearing comeback.

The former Wanna One member has presented a song he composed himself to IZONE, another project group from the Produce series. The song, whose details and title are still yet to be revealed, will be a part of the girl group’s upcoming new mini album HEARTIZ.

Previously, Lee Daehwi was already recognized for his talent in composing and producing music after gifting songs to former Wanna One groupmates Yoon Ji Sung and Park Ji Hoon for their respective debuts.

The mellow track “Comma”, which was included in Ji Sung’s solo album Aside, received so much positive feedback from fans, and so did the youthful and energetic song “Young 20”, which Ji Hoon had been performing during his solo fan meeting tour.

Daehwi himself is gearing up for his upcoming debut with the four-member group Brand New Boys which was revealed to take place in May. He will be joining his labelmates Park Woo Jin, who was also a member of Wanna One, and Lim Young Min and Kim Dong Hyun, who previously debuted as the duo MXM.

Meanwhile, IZONE is set to make their first ever comeback on April 1. Following their song’s release, they will be holding a comeback show titled HEART TO ‘HEARTIZ’ at 7 PM KST, which is to be broadcasted worldwide.
