“Produce X 101” Gives First Look At Trainees Through Title Track “X1-MA”

National producers, welcome the new set of Produce X 101 trainees to watch out for!

Produce X 101 had finally introduced their trainees for the new season through a showcase of their title track!

Titled “X1-MA”, the season’s title track was staged by the trainees on M Countdown on March 21. Not only did this special stage give the show’s avid viewers a first listen to the title track. It also gave everyone a first look at all the 101 trainees vying for the top spots in the new season in order to make their debut.

This is the first year the season’s title track is not named “Pick Me”, signaling how different Produce X 101 will be from its predecessors.

As their first on-screen gathering to showcase their promising vocals and A+ dance skills, the extremely energetic, upbeat, and catchy song had the trainees promising all viewers that they “will shine for you”.

Through the stage, the first center for Produce X 101 was also confirmed to be Son Dong Pyo from DSP Media.

He now has the privilege of lining up next to season one’s Choi Yoo Joung from Weki Meki, season two’s Lee Daehwi from Brand New Boys, and season three’s Miyawaki Sakura. All three had successfully debuted in the show’s project groups, namely I.O.I, Wanna One, and IZ*ONE, after successfully capturing the hearts of national producers.

Following the trainees’ performance on M Countdown, Produce X 101 will begin airing on May 3 at 11 PM KST.
