Lee Hyun Woo Meets Fans Before Military Service With Close Friends Park Seo Joon & Woo Do Hwan

Prior to his enlistment for South Korea’s mandatory military service, actor Lee Hyun Woo gifts his fans with a memorable 3-hour fan gathering.

His first solo fan meeting was staged at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam Seoul yesterday, February 3. The event holds a special meaning because it will be his last project ahead of his impending military conscription, set on February 19.

Lee Hyun Woo greeted the fans, with his single “Your Face”. He looked back on the works he has done, and shared intimate memories with his fans.

Lee Hyun Woo debuted in 2005 as a child actor. He is part of big scale historical TV productions, including The Legend, The Return of Iljimae, King Sejong the Great, Queen Seon Deok and Gyebaek. He also made young version portrayals for films Dirty Carnival and Hwang Jin Yi before joining the cast of critically acclaimed sports drama film GLove. Leaving his illistrious child actor stint, he transitioned to remarkable projects To The Beautiful You, Secretly Greatly and The Con Artist, which pushed him to mainstream popularity. He secured his first lead man role in 2016’s Moorim School, and played a genius songwriter in musical youth drama The Liar and His Lover.

In the fan meeting, the actor joyfully played with his fans through various games, not minding if he would look silly as long as he could make them happy.

Lee Hyun Woo, who is known to have music collaborations for drama OSTs, also gave his fans a self-composed song for their unwavering love and support.

Fans were lucky to see the actor’s good friends Park Seo Joon and Woo Do Hwan, who took their time off to support their friend on his fan meeting. The three showed a positive brotherhood bond, which made the event more brighter.

After completing the fan meeting in about three hours, Lee Hyun Woo announced that he will attend the recruitment training for his army duty on February 19.

The actor, who is thankful for all the love and blessings his fans showered onto him, said, “I am still not enough, but I will try to show you a good feeling by growing up. I will say hello to you again. ”
