SEVENTEEN Achieves Highest Stock Pre-Orders In K-Pop History With “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN”

Powerhouse K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN continues their record-breaking streak as they reach a new feat with their 11th mini-album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN.

Largest pre-orders in K-Pop history

According to the recent report by album distributor YG PLUS, SEVENTEEN’s comeback album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN‘s domestic and international pre-order volume was calculated to be 5,206,718 copies. This is the largest number of pre-orders for a K-pop album in history, solidifying their status as the best K-pop group today.

Based on the data collected on October 12 (4,673,069 copies), SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN has already surpassed the previous 10th mini album FML and broke the record for the highest number of pre-orders among SEVENTEEN’s albums, establishing their “career high” early on.

SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN includes a total of 8 songs bannered by the title track “God of Music.” The group will also showcase their new unit songs including the hip-hop team’s “Monster,” the vocal team’s “Yawn,” and the performance team’s Back 2 Back.” Moreover, fans are in for special treats as SEVENTEEN will release “SOS (Prod. Marshmello),” “Diamond Days,” “Headliner,” and an instrumental version of “God of Music.”

Led by producer Woozi, S.Coups, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Mingyu, and Vernon also participated in writing lyrics or composing the album, capturing a variety of musical colors throughout the album.

The title song “God of Music” is a soul funk-based song that stands out with the harmony of cheerful synth and brass sounds. With its impressive funky and rhythmic atmosphere, this festive song will let you feel the energy of happiness that SEVENTEEN brings to fans.

Meanwhile, TEAM SVT (SEVENTEEN and CARATs) will be welcoming the official release of SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN today at 6 PM KST.
