“Soulmate” Completes Lead Cast Introduction With Released Byun Woo Seok Stills
Byun Woo Seok rounds up the lead cast of Soulmate.
Previously, Soulmate announced Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Nee as the two female leads in the remake of the popular 2016 Chinese film. The film chronicles the story of two friends who shared fond memories together. They recognized each other from the first meeting and shared everything from happiness to sadness, excitement, and longing.
Confirmed to be released in March, attention is focused on Byun Woo Seok following the success of Netflix film, 20th Century Girl. Notably, the actor has been making waves for successive hit projects including Flower Crew Marriage Agency, Record of Youth and Moonshine. He is also set to appear in Strong Girl Nam-soon.
Portraying Jinwoo, the actor will be a character that will witness the friendship and separation of the two best friends in the story.
From the released character stills, Byun’s expressive emotions stand out, raising expectations for his presence that will make the friendship he shared with them shine more.

Praising the actor for his portrayal, Director Director Min Yong-geun was grateful for casting the actor.
“I had the most trouble with Jin-woo’s character. He is a character that is not easy to express. Good looks without any malice were important, and actor Byun Woo-seok was perfect for that.”
Soulmate is gearing up for its premiere in March.
