Lee Jung Jae And Shin Min Ah To Suit Up As Political Players In New jTBC Drama

Returning for their small screen projects, Lee Jung Jae and Shin Min Ah will greet the audience with a peerless story against the backdrop of Korea’s government system.

Lee and Shin will bring life to characters who shake the world behind the shrewd political powerplays. The President’s Aide (literal translation) challenges the main actors who are set to portray as a political adviser and a politician.

Powerhouse Lead Cast

Hyping up the excitement of fans is Lee Jung Jae’s return to television after 10 years. The actor, who has been busy with film projects, last worked on TV series Triple in 2009. Portraying the role of Jang Tae Joon, his character sketch is a senior assistant to a government official. Adding to his police background is his ability to make things possible through his sound judgment and vigorous fighting spirit.

Scoring one box office film hit to another, Lee has traversed various genres such as melodrama, action and crime. Constantly receiving love calls from broadcasters, his appearance on the new jTBC drama appears to have enthused the actor with its well-conceived story.

After two years, the actress marks her latest television venture since tvN’s Tomorrow With You. She has recently wrapped up filming Diva.

Backing up the production are the showrunners who worked on Miss Hammurabi, The Slave Hunters, K2 and Life on Mars. The new drama will premiere on jTBC in May.
