ASTRO Shows A Variety Of Whimsical Tracks In Highlight Medley For “GATEWAY” Mini-Album
ASTRO has unveiled the beautiful melodies of every song that they prepared for their upcoming mini-album!
ASTRO released sneak peeks of the six new songs included in their comeback mini-album titled GATEWAY ahead of its release this May 4!
Through a highlight medley unveiled on April 28 at 6 PM KST, the boy group gave fans a quick listen at what they can expect from the magical roster of new music they had prepared for their return.
Opening the highlight medley as the first song, the title track “Knock” shared a glimpse of its addictive lyrics and melodies, including the line “Knock Knock Knock Knock” which will captivate listeners’ ears. Moreover, ASTRO’s unique freshness remained intact on the song—and the more powerful charms of it showcased briefly but intensely shook the hearts of fans.
Other songs in the album also caught fans’ attention as it showed different moods of “coolness”. Among these are the urban hip-hop song “When You Call My Name” and the track “Somebody Like”, which is a pop dance song containing addictive piano and guitar sounds.
The pop ballad song “We Still” also conveyed the group’s love for their fans, while the medium tempo R&B song “12 Hours” which contained a calm piano melody. Lastly, JinJin’s self-written song “I’ll Be Your Light” relayed the group’s message of wanting to be Arohas’ light to everyone.
Even with the short highlight medley, ASTRO was able to fully make their personalities reflect on their songs.
With this preview, ASTRO showed how they filled the album with their clean and clear voices, heralding an outstandingly-made new set of music releases once more. Additionally, GATEWAY is expected to show ASTRO’s upgraded powerful charms as well as a variety of “coolness.”
In addition to their mini-album’s release at 6 PM KST, ASTRO will also hold their comeback broadcast on Naver V LIVE at 8 PM KST this May 4.
