BTS’ “Boy With Luv” Hailed As The Current Most-Streamed K-Pop Song On Spotify
Congratulations to BTS, Halsey, and ARMYs!
Unsurprisingly setting new records left and right, Worldwide K-Pop boy group BTS has again beefed up their long list of feats with another striking achievement.
According to a recent report by Forbes, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were able to score yet another impressive record in the music scene.
In particular, the boys’ latest hit “Boy With Luv” featuring American pop singer Halsey has now become the most-streamed K-Pop song on Spotify.
On April 12, the visually blinding and multi-talented idols released the said track as the main song off their record-breaking album Map of The Soul: Persona. Though four months have passed since its worldwide release, the track is still continuously receiving a lot of love up until now.
In addition, the K-Pop septet was able to achieve the feat with its latest hit reaching almost 285 million streams on the digital music platform. The group has dethroned BLACKPINK, who previously reigned with their collaborative track “Kiss And Make Up” with Dua Lipa.
Aside from the two songs, other K-Pop tracks likewise obtained an impressive number of streams on Spotify. Specifically, BLACKPINK’s hit songs including “DDU-DU-DDU-DU” and “Kill This Love”, and “Gangnam Style” by PSY have been played at least 200 million times from users worldwide.
Meanwhile, BTS’ “Boy With Luv” continues to rake views on the YouTube platform. As of 3 PM KST, the music video has already garnered a total of 568,636,541 views.
