BTS’ “Butter” Named Variety’s 2021 Record Of The Year
Congratulations on bagging another remarkable feat, BTS!
BTS has won Variety’s 2021 Record of the Year award for their smash hit English single “Butter.”
On November 19, Variety, one of the leading American entertainment media, announced the list of award recipients for this year’s Hitmakers celebration. The winners will be recognized through an exclusive brunch next month.
According to Variety, BTS will take home the 2021 Record of the Year award. Moreover, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will deliver a special video for the event.
Hitmakers is an awards ceremony that selects labels, singer-songwriters, producers, and composers who have contributed to the production of the most popular songs of the year. This year’s celebration will happen on December 4.
Notably, this is the second time that BTS has bagged an award from Hitmakers. Last year, the group solidified their position as a global superstar, and won the Group of the Year category. They made history as the first Korean act to be selected as a winner.
Meanwhile, fans should stay tuned as BTS is also vying for three trophies for the upcoming 2021 American Music Awards.
