BTS To Return With A New Special Album In August

By  |

Get your wallets ready, ARMYs – BTS is reported to be releasing a special mini album this August!

After making a successful comeback with Love Yourself: Tear this May 2018, a special album from BTS seems to be in store for ARMYs this August!

The yet unnamed album will feature around two to three new tracks, which the Bangtan boys have worked on during the production of their third full-length album Love Yourself: Tear.

No specific timeline or release dates are revealed yet, except for the album’s drop in August, but the songs are reportedly in their final stages.

A music video for one of the album tracks will also be filmed and released soon.

Despite seemingly like an extension of their latest album, BTS plans to treat this upcoming release as a separate album. The group would not be combining the album sales of the special album with Love Yourself: Tear.

The new songs from the album would also not be promoted on music shows, but instead be performed during the boys’ upcoming Love Yourself world tour.

With the lack of further details about the album, fans have deduced the new album to be like BTS’ Young Forever album release. Young Forever served as a compilation album for the albums The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Parts 1 and 2 in 2016.

Young Forever featured twenty tracks from both albums, plus the three new singles “Fire”, “Save Me”, and “Epilogue: Young Forever”. However, BigHit Entertainment is still yet to make an announcement about the mini album.

BTS had been making headlines lately – as expected – after garnering huge accomplishments after another. They became the first artist to receive a Million Certification from Gaon after surpassing a count of million copies sold for their Love Yourself: Tear album last July 12.

Incheon International Airport, which is Korea’s largest and busiest airport, had also enlisted the help of BTS in promoting tourism by employing the BT21 characters, personally designed by RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
