WEverse Further Expands Artist Portfolio With SM Artists
Global fandom life platform Weverse announced that 12 solo and group artists from SM Entertainment will officially join the platform and open their own respective official communities by September 2023.
With this, SM artists will make a shift from SM’s existing fan community platform ‘KWANGYA CLUB’ to Weverse, where they will be able to connect with global fans via a variety of services including Weverse Live, fan chats and multimedia content.
These artists will also be featured on Weverse Shop, a comprehensive commerce platform where fans can purchase albums and artist-related official merchandise. The official global fan club will also be operated through a Weverse Membership service.
This is the result of a platform collaboration between HYBE, Kakao Entertainment, and SM announced last March. With the addition of SM artists to its diverse portfolio and more artists on the way, Weverse is set to expand the spectrum of its user base.
As a comprehensive and user-friendly community platform for fans and artists worldwide, Weverse will offer unparalleled fandom experiences by providing content and services optimized for fan activities along with a communication channel between artists and fans. With its comprehensive commerce platform known as the Weverse Shop, the platform allows users to purchase albums and artist-related Merch.

Currently available in 245 countries and regions around the world, the platform has established itself as the largest global fandom platform with approximately 65 million subscribers enjoying the integrated fandom experience.
Weverse Company is a global fandom platform company whose vision is to innovate the platform business through the expansion of customer experience.
It also provides content and services optimized for fan activities along with the function of a communication channel between artists and fans. Weverse Shop offers artists’ official merchandise to customers around the world.
The platform is currently operating communities for more than 80 artists worldwide. Since acquiring Naver’s V Live operation division in 2022, Weverse launched ‘Weverse Live’ and plans to further develop to become a global mega fandom platform.
