ITZY’s Ryujin Shows Support To Wildfire Victims Through Recent Donation

ITZY’s Ryujin continues to spread good influence on her peers and fans.

Ryujin from the popular K-pop girl group ITZY has recently donated to help the victims of the wildfire in Gangwondo.

According to news reports, ITZY’s Ryujin turned over 50 million won or approximately $40,707 to The Promise, a non-governmental organization. Showing her support to the wildfire victims, she said, “I sincerely hope that it will be a small hope and strength for the victims of the affected area to recover their precious lives.”

The Promise expressed its gratitude to the ITZY member for her heartwarming gesture. “Thank you for the warmly giving her share. We will do our best to help the victims who have lost their homes in a moment of fire so that they can return to their daily lives as soon as possible.”

Her donation will be used for various community support programs aimed at increasing the local community’s resilience, such as horticultural therapy activities to help the victims of forest fires adapt to new temporary housing, and a gardening project to create a green environment.

Ryujin made her debut as a member of the idol group ITZY in February 2019. Last weekend, her group met with domestic and foreign fans by holding their first official fan meeting.

Meanwhile, The Promise has been taking the lead in forest fire relief activities by providing customized goods and disaster welfare services to victims of forest fires starting March 6 to the present.
