Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung To Say Goodbye To Her 20s With An Exhibit
Sooyoung is gifting fans a unique present to end the year!
Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung is repaying the love and support of her fans through a special exhibit on December 29 to 30 at the Seoul Forest Understand Avenue Art Stand.
Titled Made in #ChoiSooYoung: 이’별이 빛나다 (The Goodbye Shines), the exhibit will feature never-before-seen photos and videos taken by the singer-actress herself.
The exhibit will also be the singer-actress’ way of saying goodbye to her 20s as she turns 30 (Korean age) in February next year.
“The exhibit, which was planned a concept of 29-year-old Choi Sooyoung saying a happy goodbye to her 20s, will be a meaningful event for both the singer-actress and her fans,” her agency Echo Global Group, her agency, said in a statement.
Made in #ChoiSooYoung: 이’별이 빛나다 (The Goodbye Shines) will be Sooyoung’s first ever exhibit. Tickets to the event will go on sale beginning November 23.
Aside from the exhibit, the Girls’ Generation member is currently in the middle of filming the drama So I Married An Anti-Fan, where she plays the role of Lee Geun Young, a magazine reporter and an anti-fan of K-Pop star Ho Joon played by Choi Tae Joon.
The drama will be partially reproduced, with plans for it to be released in 160 countries including North and Central America. Moreover, Warner Bros Korea TV Production has invested on the drama, and will serve as its co-producer.
So I Married An Anti-Fan is a remake of the box-office hit Chinese film of the same title. The film, which was released in 2016, starred EXO’s Chanyeol, Yuan Shanshan, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun, and Jiang Chao.
