Kang Daniel Amasses Over 450,000 Pre-Orders Within A Week For Solo Debut Album

Prior to his official solo debut, Kang Daniel has already recorded a massive amount of album sales – in just within a week!

KONNECT Entertainment expressed their amazement and gratitude to fans for the overflowing support they show to the idol while waiting for his solo debut. This was reflected in the huge number recorded for the pre-orders of his upcoming mini-album Color On Me, which is slated for release on July 25.

“After pre-order sales began on July 16, Kang Daniel’s solo debut album Color on Me surpassed 450,000 preorders. This is an extraordinary feat for a debut album,” the agency stated, relaying the numbers they have recorded as of July 23 KST.

The hot response for the idol’s solo debut album has been felt since pre-orders opened on the afternoon of July 16 with the artist topping real-time searches in several music sites upon the announcement.

After being dearly missed by fans, the former Wanna One member will make his solo debut on July 25 with Color On Me. He personally participated in the entire process of making his solo debut album with the hopes of expressing and showing fans how he found his own colours.
