SEVENTEEN Sells Out All 4,000 Seats To Comeback Album Showcase In Three Minutes
2017 is really the year for SEVENTEEN.
South Korean boy group SEVENTEEN was serious when it said 2017 would be its year. Aside from a scheduled world tour this year, the thirteen-member group is also slated to have its much anticipated comeback on May 22.
S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Wonwoo, Hoshi, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino will return with their fourth mini album ‘Al1’ and title track Don’t Wanna Cry. The track is said to be about a feeling of deep sadness felt for the first time in life. The album, which the members once again took part in producing, will include eight tracks.
SEVENTEEN will also hold a showcase on May 23, following the album release. The showcase will be held at Olympic Park, Olympic Hall. Ticket selling began on May 18 and were sold out in three minutes. This was despite of the fact that the sale of 4,000 seats being limited to official fan club members of the group. Each person was also limited to a single ticket purchase.
‘Al1’ will be the group’s first comeback this year. They began teasing for their fourth mini album on May 10 with Vernon’s trailer, and was soon followed by the rest of the members. Teaser images, track list and highlight medley were also released. The album is expected to have three versions – alone, Al1 and all.
Following the comeback, the thirteen-member group will kick off its ‘2017 SEVENTEEN 1ST WORLD TOUR: DIAMOND EDGE’ in Seoul. They will then visit 12 other cities in Asia and North America, including Saitama, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Chicago, Dallas, Toronto, New York, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei and Manila.
