Kim Hyun Joong Sings About “Pure Love” For Japanese Drama OST

Fall deeper in love with Kim Hyun Joong as he serenades you with his new OST!

SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong participated in the official soundtrack of the Japanese drama One Page Love, which stars Hashimoto Kanna, Itagaki Mizuki, Furukawa Yuki, and more.

Titled “Pure Love”, the OST serves as the opening theme song of the drama which began airing on February 18 via AbemaTV. Moreover, the singer-actor wrote and composed the song, drawing inspiration from synopsis of the drama.

“I am very glad to be able to participate in the OST. I tried to express the heart of a person who met his destiny and experiences his pure and first love,” he explained. He also relayed his hope for people to sympathize with the song lyrics while watching the drama.

“Pure Love” is Kim Hyun Joong’s first OST participation for a Japanese drama.

The singer-actor previously lent his voice and contributed to the original soundtracks of Boys Over Flowers, Playful Kiss, The Wedding Scheme, Inspiring Generation, and When Time Stopped.

Meanwhile, Kim Hyun Joong returned to South Korea’s music scene with his new album New Way on February 4.

The singer-actor also participated in writing, composing, and arranging songs from the album, which came four years after his fourth Korean-language extended play Timing.

He also successfully wrapped up his two-day concert in Seoul held on February 9 and 10 where he performed his newest song “Why”, along with “Haze”, “Take My Hand”. “New Way”, and more.

After Seoul, he will perform at the KBS Hall in Busan on February 23.
